Position Description

We are currently seeking a Sales Engineer who will be sell High Tek’s cutting edge food packaging equipment, quality aftermarket parts, and leading industry service to existing customers and to potential customers in the market place. It is an excellent  opportunity for candidates with sales experience who also have strong entrepreneurial and organizational skills and the ability to cross sell (negotiation, operative management of orders, after sales service).

Under the direction of the Sales Manager, Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying and developing sales growth. Account management for existing customers and develop new targeted customers, develop pricing, quotations and proposals, develops and proposes long term PM agreements within their assigned territory.

Must be highly motivated, focused on customer service, and ready to succeed.

Duties

  • Travel Domestic & Internationally
  • Provide minimal technical training to customers
  • Works with other departments to meet customer needs
  • Communicate customer feedback for future product development
  • Marketing and sales strategies
  • Generates new business and insures growth for existing accounts
  • Inner sales orders
  • Supports outside sales and members of the team
    Acts as project manager to ensure success of projects
  • Completes estimates and quotes
  • Interfaces with customers to determine technical requirements and expectations
  • Provide technical support during testing and prototypes

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Expertise in trouble shooting skills
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Organized with an exceptional attention to detail
  • Aptitude to learn new software applications rapidly
  • Willingness to take on a wide range of tasks and responsibilities
  • Clean DMV
  • Must Have Own Credit Card (For Reimbursable Expenses)

Compensation:$15.00 Hourly Rate (DOE) + Commission 6 Month employee will be full Commission Base. During Hourly period + commission all commissions are a no less than 3-5 % of sale.
Benefits:Benefits will be offered after 90 days a % of your compensation will be paid toward benefits, Paid holidays, paid time off (accrued based on hours worked)
